Beck & Fontenot met in Jeju Island, South Korea.
Jeju is a beautiful volcanic island at a southern tip of South Korea, where there are still wildness in nature.
They met at a small bar in Jeju City, and John was playing drum on that night.
When Beck saw him playing, she instantly felt that she wanted to record something with him.
So they did. They went to a studio after a few days, and started to play music together.
And the engineer couldn’t press stop button until they finished playing about 30 minutes.
So They are releasing the First album on the July 10,2020.
They have a special connection that they understand each other so well,
so even though they improvise the whole thing, it sounds like they have been practicing that song.
